Da' Vinattieri

Wow, all I can say is this Da’ Vinattieri serves authentic sandwiches, with value for money and feels nothing like a tourist trap, unlike most of the other sandwich shops. We got the pancetta with melted cheese and salad on the schiacciata bread, alongside the spicy tripe which comes served in a crispy bread roll, a bottle of water and a glass of Chianti for €14.50, unbelievable value. Both sandwiches were delicious, fresh and filling with quality ingredients - these sandwiches are good because of their simplicity, do not compare to places like All’ Antico Vinaio who just pile mounds of ingredients into a sandwich and charge you triple the price. Don’t expect to sit, the seating is limited to four chairs at a bar but there is plenty of standing space in the alley outside and arch to cover you if it is raining. The sandwiches are also really easy to eat on the go. Many thanks also to our server was pleasant and professional. You really rounded out the experience - thank you, I will be back for the Porchetta and Truffle cream next time!

A Hidden Gem for Tripe Lovers! I had an absolutely amazing tripe sandwich here—an explosion of bold, rich flavors in every bite. The tripe was tender and perfectly seasoned, with just the right balance of spices to bring out its unique character without overpowering it. Each element of the sandwich worked in harmony, from the crisp bread to the savory accompaniments. A truly memorable and satisfying experience—I’ll definitely be coming back for more!

THIS WAS ONE OF THE BEST SANDWICHES I HAVE EVER HAD. Highly recommend this small spot. The menu is up on the wall and everything is sliced or cut fresh. The focaccia bread was unreal and they added just enough quantities of each of the ingredients. I had the #5 which was the ricotta-salami-mandaron orange sandwich. Highly recommend. Highly. Highly. Highly. My partner and I loved our sandwiches so much we went back a different day but unfortunately they were closed :’( Oh and they offer a handful of cold drink options including beer. Not much room to sit but that’s part of the charm. Super friendly staff. Check it out!

Easily the best sandwiches Florence! Super fast, fresh ingredients, friendly staff and every sandwich was the same price (4 euro) regardless of ingredients. Rare to find something so delicious that doesn't compromise quality for trying to bleed the tourist dry. Had the porchetta, the tuna, the ham & pate and the fried bread balls (coccoli fritti)... Will be back tomorrow for the lampredotto & trippa. Keep up the great work guys!
